Hey Mama, I’m Tracey, owner of Life & Light Photography and a professional family photographer in Sydney. I'm so glad you're here!

My path as a photographer has been one that’s grown with me and evolved with new dimensions as I’ve gone through this journey that we call life. I’ve always loved photographs and photography, and my family’s photo albums remain more valuable to me than any other material item in this world. However, it was only after overcoming a deeply personal challenge with my wife that I realised just how dear these images are to those whom they belong.

After going through IVF and experiencing how difficult it was to fall pregnant, I made it my mission to capture every detail. From celebrating our pregnancy and documenting how this blossomed to the moment Jack took his first earthly breath, we now have more than our mind’s memories to appreciate.

My journey into Motherhood has been absolutely transformational and as I reflect on what it took to get here, I feel pulled to help other Mamas honour their Motherhood journey through my visual storytelling. My goal for your photography experience is to hold space for your journey, the highs, lows and everything in-between. To take a moment to reflect and honour the experience that has completely and profoundly shaped who you have become.
